The Samoyed Rescue of Utah does not sell their rescues, We charge an adoption fee. The fee can range anywhere from $300.00 to $400.00 which covers the cost to have the dog Vet checked, spayed/neutered, have all shots current including rabies, micro chip, grooming and training. All dogs WILL BE spayed/neutered before they go to their new homes. All puppies will be spayed/neutered before placement. Every rescue is temperment tested to be kid, cat and dog friendly. With some of the dogs taken in that require training classes at the rescues advice, we will request an additional fee at the time of adoption and you must complete a training coarse within 6 months of adoption. After completion and a graduation certificate, that fee will be refunded. SRU Approved training facilities only.

Before filling out the application, please take note that the Samoyed Rescue of Utah adopts to the Western States only. The cost to fly a dog of this size is just ridiculous. The only States I will adopt to is CA., NEV., CO., NM., WA., ID., OR and WY. Most Transportation is by ground and is provided by you.

If you fill out an application and there are no dogs available or there is an adoption pending on a dog you are applying for, you will be placed on a waiting list if you are approved. Please do understand that purebred rescues don't get too many females in. People like to keep them to breed. If you insist on a female, the wait could be very long. Please do not apply if you insist on having a puppy or one that is under 2yrs old. Most dogs that come into rescue are full grown adults usually between 3-5yrs old. Very rarely do we get any puppies under the age of 18 months.
